A bright and airy room decorated in stimulating, vibrant colours. Children learn to care, share, and interact with others. Group play activities such as baking, model making, arts and crafts, story telling encourage children to develop social skills and form friendships.
Activities are carefully planned to ensure that children are learning, growing and reaching new goals through fun-filled exciting play experiences.
The staff have boundless energy and enjoy going back to their childhood and joining in the fun, whilst supporting, observing and monitoring children's progress. The room is set out so that children have access to all resources to build on their imaginative and self-motivating skills.
This is an important stage of a child's social development. This is where they start to learn to care for themselves, i.e. toilet training, personal hygiene, feeding themselves, as well as starting to socialise with others and becoming aware of feelings and emotions.
The staff and surroundings are geared towards this to ensure that progression is smooth whilst still being fun and enjoyable.
